We are seeking a highly motivated individual with strong communication, time management and organizational skills.
This is an excellent opportunity to learn and grow with the largest union affiliated gas contractor in the New York City area.
As a Billing Clerk, you will perform clerical duties for the Billing Department and work closely with a few of our Superintendents.
Responsibilities and skills include:
Ability to effectively communicate with field workers, superintendents, and high-level executives.
Assessing daily timecards entered from the field, as well as creating and processing billing tickets based on work completed.
Ability to successfully adhere to a deadline schedule while prioritizing tasks.
Ensuring paperwork is entered in a timely manner from the field, communicating delays, and coordinating submission of paperwork.
Office administration - answering customer calls, communicating with various agencies to support field work, etc.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and general computer skills a plus.
