Box Office Cashier Description:
About Knockdown Center Knockdown Center is an art, performance, and live music venue featuring weekly diverse programming and produces / hosts cultural events and exhibitions in our 50,000 square-foot building.
Primary Purpose of Role We are currently recruiting for a Box Office Cashier to join our team.
Working collaboratively with your peers, you will play a crucial role in the execution of events, delighting our guests.
The Role:
Box Office Sell tickets to shows and other events.
Answer questions about upcoming events and ticket availability.
Process payments and issue tickets.
Provide excellent customer service to ticket buyers.
Merchandise Selling Sell merchandise, such as t-shirts, hats, and posters, at the venue.
Stock and organize merchandise displays.
Process payments and provide receipts to customers.
Answer questions about merchandise products.
In addition to these specific responsibilities, all of our employees are also expected to provide excellent customer service to all guests.
This means being friendly, helpful, and informative.
It also means being able to resolve any problems or concerns that guests may have.
Requirements Candidates must meet all of the following required criteria:
Experience preferred Professional approach to work.
Experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Excellent command of English, both written and verbal.
Confidence and ability to deal with difficult situations (including those involving conflict) is essential.
The ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team.
The ability to stand for long periods of time.
Taking pride in your appearance as well as representing the Knockdown Center at all times.
Flexibility and willingness/availability to work at short notice (days, nights, evenings and weekends).
Due to the nature of the role, must be available nights and weekends.
