We are seeking a highly motivated individual with strong communication, time management and organizational skills.
This is an excellent opportunity to learn and grow with the largest union affiliated gas contractor in the New York City area.
As a Training & Curriculum Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing & executing our unique training courses and programs and implementing these programs into company & customer procedures.
You must be a team player, have the ability to adapt to a dynamic teaching and learning environment, be comfortable teaching material that they may be new to, and be able to teach both in-person and online classes.
Responsibilities and skills include:
Create training content and schedules for all company departments, track and create reports on outcomes of all training, and maintain training records for the company.
Execute a robust OnBoarding curriculum.
Train new hires on regulatory, company, & customer policies and procedures, and utilize the best training methods for a specific purpose or audience.
Collaborate with department heads & HR personnel to evaluate previous trainings to identify weaknesses and areas that need additional training.
Attend seminars and meetings to learn new training content, methods, and techniques and use the knowledge to prepare and coordinate future training sessions.
Inform employees on scheduled training and track their progress.
Recommend training materials and methods and order & maintain in-house training needs.
Cover employee Operator Qualification testing at remote locations (Queens or Long Island) Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and general computer skills.
